“No One Should Go Hungry”

Embracing the spirit of care and community, we are delighted to announce the weekly distribution of 50 complimentary vegetarian meals to students at our university. In partnership with Rutgers Pantry, this initiative not only addresses student-related food insecurities but also seeks to nourish minds and bodies. Join us in fostering a supportive environment where every student can thrive, ensuring that no one faces the challenges of hunger alone.

“The act of giving will transform you”

According to USDA, report, more than 37 million people in the United States struggle with hunger & 14.3 million American households were food insecure with limited or uncertain access to enough food. To achieve our vision of a hunger-free America, we must address the root causes of hunger and deepen our understanding of structural and systemic inequities that disproportionately impact marginalized communities and people in need of assistance. IHF collaborates with local communities and colleges to provide needs-based on requirements. Feel free to bring something along with you and drop by our campus.

Go Green!

“He who plants a tree plants hope”

Trees are like the vacuums of our planet. Through their leaves and bark, they absorb harmful pollutants, filter the water we drink and release clean oxygen for us to breathe. Forests provide jobs to over 1.6 billion people, absorb harmful carbon from the atmosphere, and are key ingredients in 25% of all medicines. Did you ever taken an Aspirin? It comes from the bark of a tree! We all benefit greatly from living among more trees. A future with fewer trees is a future less secure for humans. Join us in the effort to make New Jersey greener and fresher.

What a privilege to be here on the planet to contribute your unique donation to humankind. Each face in the rainbow of colors that populate our world is precious and special.
